The old City of London is only one square mile, but it's where the whole thing started.
Prepare to be impressed by the smooth mixture of old and new, by the modern architecture and the perfect layout.
We will walk on the same roads where the Romans walked two thousand years ago and see where the history of this great nation started.

 

The dark misteries of the East End

Duration: 2 - 2 1/2 ore
Meeting point: Tower Hill underground station

Discover an area marked by executions, murders, poverty, disease and misery.
The walk starts by Tower of London, the famous haunted building that witnessed some of the most horrible crimes in history.
We'll discover the dark narrow streets of Whitechapel, a place that hides secrets old of hundreds of years and where time seems to stand still.  
We'll meet Jack the Ripper and his horrifying murders and try to understand how a city full of light and splendour hides such a dark and misterious area.
The walk ends around Liverpool Street station.

It is a walk that follows the steps of William the Confessor and Winston Churchill and shows the places where the Kings of England lived and ruled the kingdom or where today the politicians decide the future of the nation.
You will discover the incredible City of Westminster, home to the unique Houses of Parliament and the old Westminster Abbey.
